RIVIERA BEACH, FL— JANUARY 25, 2016— As a commitment to continuing education and customer support, RGF Environmental, an environmental products manufacturer, is proud to announce that two associates have received accredited ACAC Certifications from the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC).

Walter B. Ellis, RGF Vice President and General Manager, has been Council-certified as an Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC) and Philip J. Sherwood, RGF Manager Engineering Services, received certification as an Indoor Environmentalist (CIE). Ellis also holds a Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional (CIAQP) certification through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). The Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB), a nationally recognized third-party accreditation body, accredit the CIEC and CIE designations.

To earn the certifications, Ellis and Sherwood passed a rigorous examination based on respected industry texts, and then submitted documented, verifiable field experience to a board of peers, earning a unanimous vote of approval. To maintain their designations, the two, who are now listed at, will remain active in the field and complete 40 hours of professional development activities in the next two years.
