RGF sues Triatomic d/b/a FreshAire UV and Ron Saunders for Defamation, False & Misleading Advertising, Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices and other allegations

Riviera Beach, Florida – RGF Environmental Group, Inc. a thirty (30) year old environmental design and manufacturing company, and recognized innovator and leader in the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Industry has filed a lawsuit in the Circuit Court of Palm Beach County, Florida against Triatomic Industries d/b/a Fresh Aire UV (Fresh Aire) and officer Ron Saunders, alleging; defamation, false and misleading advertising, deceptive and unfair trade practices. libel, and tortious interference with business relationships ie. Sales Representative, Distributors and Customers.

Over the past eight years, according to the complaint, Triatomic a competitor in the IAQ industry, who’s current owner Chris Willette is a former RGF employee and Saunders his sale manager/ vice president have consistently stated NO OZONE on all their marketing materials and product brochures, which is not true; and on numerous occasions they sent out knowingly false and misleading information via emails and other verbal communications about RGF and it’s Guardian Air product line stating that RGF’s products are ozone generators, (which they are not), in an effort to gain market share and steal customers away from RGF.

The latest in the barrage of knowingly false, misleading and highly offensive verbal and written claims made by Saunders and several other Triatomic employees were “that a report from American Society of Heating and Refrigerating and Air Conditioning (ASHRE) was forthcoming which would be disparaging to RGF when published and be “the death of RGF”. The ASHRE report was subsequently released and published with no references to RGF or RGF’s products.

“I don’t understand why a company such as Triatomic continues to disparage all of its competitors including RGF. We have always believed that you should stand behind and sell your product on values such as validation, features and benefits, reputation, education, and relevancy in the market place. Bad mouthing, discrediting and falsifying information regarding other manufacturer’s products reflects badly on the company doing it and only creates confusion in the marketplace. It’s frustrating for contractors and wholesalers, whom are truly out there selling and creating awareness for all IAQ products.” stated RGF’s Vice President-Sales, Mat Charles.

RGF manufactures over 500 environmental products and has a 30-year history of providing the world with the safest air, water and food without the use of chemicals. RGF is a leader in product development and research. It holds numerous patents and patents-pending on many of it’s environmental, food safety and IAQ products including but not limited to: the FinSaver®, Guardian Air PHI-Cell (Photohydroionization®); REME-HALO™. RGF’s Advanced Oxidation Systems are proven and independently tested to be extremely effective in destroying mold, odors, bacteria and viruses while also being completely safe for occupants, and the REME-Halo has the added benefit of reducing particulates.
