Rapid Recovery Unit® model DS (RRU-DS) utilizes RGF’s patented PHI-Cell® technology to generate airborne gaseous hydrogen peroxide (aGHP®). Airborne hydrogen peroxide is distributed throughout the space to actively reduce microbes and odors in the air and on surfaces.

RRU-DS features an internal fan to help distribute aGHP® throughout the treatment area and an odor absorbing media filter to help reduce odors. The system is designed specifically to generate and distribute aGHP® for the reduction of microbes and odors rather than relying on particulate filtration as its primary method of treatment.

RRU-DS comes with a flexible hose assembly on the end cap, which enables maintenance personnel or HVAC contractor to attach the hose into the return air vent for easy duct cleaning. In doing so, airborne hydrogen peroxide can be distributed throughout the entire HVAC system to greatly reduce mold, bacterial growth, and odors. Once the unit is activated, it will quickly and efficiently clean the ducting, in as little as 30 minutes for an average size home.
